RPS Volleyball Team Captures First Prep B Title in 15 Years

The Rutgers Prep girls volleyball team claimed its first Prep B championship since 2010 with a win over Montclair Kimberly in the final on October 22.

After splitting the first two sets, the Argonauts faced a 17–8 deficit in the third. They responded with grit and determination, mounting a comeback to secure the match. Rebecca Panacek ’29 led the offense with 24 assists, while Aubrey Franz ’27 finished with 13 kills and 11 service points.

The championship capped a strong season for Rutgers Prep, which finished with a 22–4 record and carried a nine-game winning streak into the NJSIAA Non-Public B Tournament championship match. That run included victories in the first two rounds before the team fell to Mother Seton.
