New School Council Members Officially Sworn in at Inauguration

At Upper School Morning Meeting on Friday, April 24, Rutgers Prep marked Inauguration Day and welcomed its newly-elected School Council leaders.

This year’s officers, who were formally sworn in during the ceremony:

President: Jimmy Hamlette ’27
Vice President: Soham Patel ’27
Secretary: Yunjin Choi ’28
Treasurer: Arunav Das ’29

Each of these students steps into the work with the responsibility to represent peers, contribute to daily life in the Upper School, and lead with steadiness and respect for others.

The community also took time to recognize the outgoing council members for the work they put in over the past year. Serving on School Council takes real follow-through, from listening to classmates to helping move ideas forward, and we are grateful for their leadership.

Jimmy, Soham, Yunjin, and Arunav now step into the role with the responsibility to represent their peers, contribute to daily life in the Upper School, and lead with steadiness and respect for others. Rutgers Prep looks forward to the ideas, energy, and collaboration they will bring to School Council, and thanks all students who choose to serve our community in this way.
